Lord VictorAdebowale Victor Adebowale is Chief Executive of Turning Point, the UK’s leading social care organisation, which has more than 200 services nationwide. Turning Point works with people facing a range of complex needs including substance misuse, mental health problems and learning disabilities. Victor began his career in Local Authority Estate Management before joining the housing association movement.

In 2000, Victor was awarded the CBE in the New Year’s Honour List for services to the New Deal, the unemployed and homeless young people. In 2001 Victor became one of the first group of people to be appointed as People’s Peers. In 2007 Victor became one of the Government’s Social Enterprise Ambassadors.
